At Longbridge Deverill, we’re incredibly proud to share that we’ve been named Home of the Year at our group's annual awards! This recognition reflects the dedication, compassion, and high standards shown by our whole team. It also celebrates the warm and compassionate environment we create every day for our residents, especially around one of the most cherished parts of life at Longbridge Deverill — our mealtimes.

Our dining service has long been a source of joy for those who live with us. From warm cups of tea shared with friends to hearty, freshly prepared meals served with care, the dining experience at Longbridge Deverill is much more than food on a plate. It’s about connection, laughter, and the comfort of familiar faces gathered around the table.

For many, mealtimes surrounded by their friends is the highlight of the day and is a time to chat, share stories and enjoy the simple pleasure of good food in good company. Whether it’s a Sunday roast or a delicious afternoon tea, our kitchen team works closely with our multicultural care team to ensure each meal feels personal, respectful and nourishing.

Being social at mealtimes is known to have a positive impact on health and well-being. They help residents stay mentally active, emotionally connected and physically well-nourished. More importantly, they offer a sense of belonging. For those who may be at risk of isolation, these shared experiences help foster meaningful relationships, gently supporting both confidence and independence.

However, we encourage our residents to dine anywhere they feel comfortable. Whether it is in our communal dining room, in our beautiful garden when the weather permits or in their en-suite bedroom, we will support our residents by delivering their meals and assisting where they need it.

We’re incredibly fortunate to have such a diverse and dedicated staff team whose cultural backgrounds enrich daily life. It’s part of what makes Longbridge Deverill feel truly like home and a place where evertybody truly belongs. Our home of the year award belongs not only to our staff but also to our residents and their families, who bring warmth and community to everything we do.

Are you looking for a care home in Warminster where every day feels like home? Arrange a visit and experience the award-winning warmth of Lonbridge Deverill for yourself. We’d love to welcome you.
