Longbridge Deverill is home to beautifully landscaped gardens and rooftop terrace where residents can relax and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views. Residents can use this space in a variety of ways, whether they want to stretch their legs, get some vitamin D, appreciate the natural beauty of the outdoors or enjoy Afternoon Tea.

Residents can spend time alone or take advantage of the social activities in our outdoor area. Residents are free to use this secure, landscaped place however they wish, whether it’s to play a game with a fellow resident or to invite loved ones for coffee in the sunshine.

Outdoor Activities

When the weather permits, our Activity Coordinators organise a range of activities to be carried out outdoors such as table-top gardening, bird feeder maintenance, tending to the vegetable patch and reading. We encourage our rersidents to engage in outdoor activities and enjoy the physical and social benefits they naturally bring.

Summertime Entertainment

Residents and staff of Longbridge Deverill always look forward to the summer months. We try to take advantage of the dry, warm weather as much as possible, and plan as many outdoor BBQs and entertainment as possible. The 4 patio areas across the two buildings, provide the perfect outdoor space to host our annual Summer Fete for residents, employees, and family members. As well as enjoy gardening, vegetable growing and enjoying the calmness of the pond with fountain and fish.
