An Action-Packed January
We’ve had a fun-filled, action-packed start to 2023 at Longbridge Deverill having carried out many activities and events throughout January.
Residents have enjoyed seeing the progress of our bulb-planting that was carried out in November of ‘ 22, in preparation for spring. We have many green-fingered residents who like to take part in gardening activities wherever possible, helping to keep our gardens attractive year-round.
Residents and staff enjoyed visiting our local pub for a coffee morning, with lots of chats and catch-ups with the local community.
Within January's activities programme, residents took part in music therapy, played various ball games and made Chinese lanterns for Chinese New Year. Residents also had a game of bird bingo, which encouraged residents to identify and chat about the beautiful birds.
We enjoyed some country and western music with Vanessa and the highlight of the month has to be the Hawaiian disco with ball games and musical instruments.
We are swinging into Valentine's month with “Love is in the air” advice and discussions from our very own resident couples, and we will be continuing along the theme of 'love' throughout the month of February.
