We’re proud to share the exciting news that the major refurbishment works at our home are now complete, and the transformation is already being felt by residents, loved ones and our team. Over the past six months, the dedicated team has worked carefully to enhance the living environment for residents, visitors and staff, all while preserving the warm, welcoming atmosphere that Longbridge Deverill is known and loved for.

Although existing bedrooms remain untouched for now, every communal space within the home has undergone a significant refresh. Also, we are thrilled to announce our home has grown with the addition of ten beautifully appointed new en-suite bedrooms, helping us support even more individuals as they begin their next chapter.

Every community within Longbridge Deverill now enjoys its own thoughtfully designed lounge and dining space, complete with new furnishings and stylish décor. The overall environment is brighter, more spacious and more homely than ever, and it can be felt from the moment you walk in. There are also refreshment stations available in each community for residents and visitors to help themselves to at any time of the day.

Our new top-floor balcony in the Wylie dementia community offers breathtaking views over the valley and is directly linked to a large open-plan lounge and dining room. Residents in the Deverill nursing community can also now enjoy a peaceful patio garden, with our previously unused decking area being brought to life with comfortable and accessible amenities.

We understand the importance of ensuring residents always look and feel their best, so we made sure to give our hair salon a refresh, and it now provides a more serene space for pampering and personal care, which adds another touch of luxury to residents’ lives at our home away from home.

The new bedrooms have been thoughtfully spread across the home, with two new rooms in the residential and nursing communities, two more within the dementia community, and five designed for those requiring specialist dementia support. We can't wait to welcome residents into these bedrooms and introduce them to the strong community feel that sets Longbridge Deverill apart.

This refurbishment represents much more than new furniture and fresh paint. It’s a real investment in the comfort, dignity and well-being of those who call Longbridge Deverill home. The environment is more spacious, more accessible and more beautiful than ever, yet it remains firmly rooted in our core values of care, compassion and community.
