What’s Local to Wiltshire Care Homes?

Here at Longbridge Deverill Care Home, we’re lucky to be surrounded by several local amenities that add to the quality of life for our residents. Many of them enjoy visiting The George Inn Pub, who hold monthly community coffee mornings that bring people together in a warm and friendly setting. For more peaceful days out, Shearwater Lake and its cabin café are just a short drive away and offer a relaxing spot for a coffee or light lunch.

Our more green-fingered residents will typically opt for the Lakeside Garden Centre, where they choose different flowers and plants to bring back and add to our garden areas. Several of our residents have an annual pass to Longleat Safari Park too, which makes for a brilliant family day out.

Health and well-being are a top priority for us and we want families to have peace of mind that essential services are close by. Warminster Hospital is only a few miles away and provides straightforward access to medical care. Our residents also benefit from local facilities like the MS Clinic, Boots pharmacy, Specsavers and trusted dentists, including My Dentist on Warminster High Street. We are proud to play a big role in the Wiltshire community and have something for everybody to enjoy, no matter their needs.
